“ A throw back, a fun pub. Went to Alba's for a quick bite after visiting Lakehurst Joint Base - it's literally around the highway corner. It's a place with good pub food, friendly staff, reasonably priced food, and filled with locals including a senior crowd that seems to gather there to pass the night in a social atmosphere. Seems to have some form of entertainment nightly. I will definitely visit again if I am in the area. I had the fish and chips which were very good and crispy. My son had their burger and boy did it look huge and delicious (which he said it was)! All the plates served around me looked tempting and delicious, served relatively fast and by a staff that seemed seasoned, team-like, and knowledgeable. Good find. ”

“ Stopped in for lunch on a cold, dreary day and were not disappointed. Chelsea was our server and she was personable and efficient. Carol had the Grilled Cheese with House Made Potato Chips while I chose the South of the Border Burger with Fries. Both sandwiches were very good - the burger was terrific but their coleslaw needs an upgrade, for sure. Not bad at all and we will stop in again. ”
